JOB DESCRIPTION:

Leidos is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Test Engineer to join our team in Columbia, Maryland. The position is part of a team that provides software development support for an organization that is tasked with dissemination of data to various customers within the Intelligence Community.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics,
  • Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional Test Engineer (TE) experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
  • Twelve (12) or more years’ experience as a TE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Clearance Required: Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Experience with manual testing and with using automated tools (e.g. Cypress, Visual Studio, Eclipse, Java)
  • Experience with regression and integration testing (in multiple environments)
Responsibilities
  • Designing, developing, and implementing test plans, test cases, and test processes
  • Performing User Interface testing against requirements
  • Identifying data to be used during testing
  • Developing automation tests using Visual Studio (VS Code) and Cypress
  • Developing automation tests using Eclipse and Java
  • Working in GIT to push/pull automation test scripts
  • Experience in testing for accessibility
  • Defining test strategies for future capabilities
  • Managing project artifacts
  • Determining appropriate project methodologies and practices
