Description
SAIC is seeking an experienced Test Engineer candidate to design, develop, and implement testing methods for custom electronic systems in Middletown, Rhode Island.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years’ experience; additional four (4) years’ experience can be considered in lieu of degree.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Strong understanding of electronic hardware principles: Knowledge of circuit design, component behavior, and system integration.
• Experience with testing methodologies and tools: Familiarity with various test techniques, equipment, and automation.
• Proficiency in test automation: Ability to develop and implement automated test scripts using languages like Python or similar.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills: Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to develop test procedures instructions and comprehensive test reports.
• Experience in hardware testing or related field.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to details with the ability to perform multiple tasks and obtain timely results.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• ISO 9000; ISO 9001; AS9100. Preferred background in military electronics technician support.

• Developing comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product specifications and requirements.
• Designing and implementing test strategies for both manual and automated testing.
• Develop comprehensive work instructions and train personnel as required to perform test procedures.
• Analyzing test results, identifying defects, and documenting them thoroughly.
