We are a rapidly growing organization seeking an experienced Senior Test Engineer to play a key role in supporting over 80+ systems within the FEMA enterprise, providing test strategies and IV&V leadership. The systems span various Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile, Hybrid-Agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD. The engineer will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing manual and automated testing to ensure software quality across diverse platforms and development lifecycles.  Key Responsibilities:  * Lead the development and execution of test strategies, IV&V approaches, and comprehensive test plans aligned to system requirements and release readiness objectives * Provide Manual and Automated Testing Oversight * Oversee and execute manual and automated testing across functional, integration, regression, performance, data migration, and accessibility domains * Design, implement and maintain test automation frameworks and architectures integrated into CI/CD pipelines * Collaborate with business owners, developers, and program stakeholders to define testing scope, develop test plans, and ensure alignment with mission and system requirements Qualifications * Experience leading defect lifecycle management, conducting root cause analysis, and proactively identifying, tracking, and mitigating program risks * Demonstrated 7+ years of progressive experience in software testing, including significant experience leading testing efforts in Agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD environments * Expert-level experience with: Automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Katalon, TestNG/Junit), API testing tools (e.g., SoapUI, RestEasy), Performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner), Test management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, ALM, Xray, Confluence) * Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) and supporting continuous testing within DevSecOps frameworks * Experience leading Section 508 testing, accessibility validation, reporting, and compliance activities, as well as data pipeline and migration testing * Demonstrated experience testing complex, enterprise-scale systems, including cloud-native and SaaS platforms (e.g., AWS, Salesforce) and integrated data environments Preferred Certifications * ISTQB Advanced Test Manager/Test Analyst  * Certified Agile Tester/SAFe Agilist/Scrum Certification  * DHS Certified 508 Tester (highly) * DevOps / CI/CD Certification (e.g., Jenkins, AWS DevOps) * CompTIA Security+ or higher Education * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred) Clearance Requirement:  * DHS Suitability * Public Trust Work Environment: * Hybrid 2-3 days onsite at government facility.
