Brief Job Summary: The E2E testing team is seeking a technically strong and motivated Senior Test Engineer to join a global team in charge of monitoring the test environments and to validate cross-applications customer flows through automated test scenarios. The successful candidate will be strong at automation, eager to learn, understand the business needs and able to dig into investigations into complex environments. The candidate's daily tasks will be to build on existing Continuous Testing Flows to improve infrastructure monitoring, leading to proactive maintenance and faster identification of faulty components. Infrastructure to monitor contains a mix of Windows and RHEL systems. The candidate will therefore participate in the automation of cross application scenarios, using different technologies, such as Robot framework, Selenium, Ansible, … Exposure to programming languages (Perl, Python, Java) is also required and experience with Chaos testing (Kraken/Cloud technologies) would be a great asset. Experience with DevOps / SRE would also be a great advantage. You will join a worldwide team of highly skilled professionals and have the opportunity to further expand your technical and testing expertise while at the same time building a solid financial business understanding. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain and drive improvements on automated test and infrastructure monitoring. • Analyze, develop and maintain automation scripts aiming at monitoring and testing complex business flows “as a customer”. • Identify service interruptions on the infrastructure, identify the root cause and run first level of restoration activities. • Coach and support less experienced software engineers in their automation's initiatives. • Participate in transforming operation department to Agile / DevOps practices and Cloud computing. Education University degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Experience 5 to 8 years of experience within a development or testing environment; 3 years of experience in automation. Professional knowledge and experience Required skills: • Fluent in English. • Able to work independently but also in team. • Practical experience with Windows and Unix (day-to-day operations). • Practical experience with Automation/DevOps tools (Git / BitBucket / RobotFramework / Cloudbees / Openshift / Ansible / Docker). • Good troubleshooting skills in complex environments and variety of technologies. Nice to have skills: • Practical experience with Cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). • Knowledge of SWIFT Interface products (Alliance Access, Gateway, Web Platform). • Knowledge of Atlassian products (Jira/Confluence/…). • Knowledge of Elasticsearch & Kibana. • Knowledge of Agile methodology.
