As a Senior Quality Engineer, we expect you to possess a high level of knowledge and exposure across various software development lifecycle models and have the ability to accelerate quality with the application of appropriate tools and approaches. This is a Wellington based role and Wellington market experience preferred Key responsibilities * Perform functional testing across complex enterprise systems * Experience with Salesforce, Banking: lending or term deposits and Payroll/HRIS systems is highly desirable. * Execute Integration Testing and UAT activities * Work closely with business stakeholders during testing phases * Create and manage test cases, test evidence and defect tracking * Produce and maintain test documentation where required * Be a good communicator, able to collaborate with client teams, people to define test cases and acceptance criteria * Learn new tools as needed and are able to provide recommendations when required * Understand how your actions in testing and quality impact upon clients and their customers * Enjoy change and new challenges. This is a Consulting role * Be passionate about quality practices within IT delivery Nice to have * Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) * Familiarity with test management tools (e.g. Jira, ADO) * Motivated to explore and maximise use of AI in testing * Local experience and wide variety of domain knowledge preferred What we offer * Training and certification support * An established training and career path * Supportive, collaborative team environment in a NZ‑based organisation Planit is building the next generation of AI‑empowered test professionals.
