You will execute programs like Sine, Random, and Sine-on-Random vibration profiles. Instrumentation & DAQ: Selecting and installing various sensors (accelerometers, strain gauges, thermocouples, and load cells). You are responsible for the "health" of the data, ensuring signal conditioning and Data Acquisition (DAQ) systems are calibrated and noise-free. Test Fixture Design & Assembly: Working with engineers to design and assemble the "stiff" fixtures required to hold a Test Article (TA) on a shaker table. This often involves precision mechanical assembly and light fabrication (drilling, tapping, or milling). Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identifying the root cause of "anomalies." If a part breaks or a signal goes flat, you must determine if it’s a product failure, a sensor malfunction, or a setup issue. Customer focus: Work with customers onsite for test setup and help coordinate through testing activities Skills / Qualifications Previous background of working in a dynamics lab for testing, 5-10+ years.
