Job Description We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior Tester to join our Digital team and drive quality assurance across our global ecommerce platforms. The ideal candidate will take ownership of testing activities across our websites, CMS, Internet Booking Engine (IBE), mobile apps (iOS, Android, and China-specific builds), and integrated services such as payment gateways and loyalty systems. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Bangkok, working with globally distributed teams in Brisbane, Madrid, and Bangkok. The successful candidate will champion user-centric testing and play a key role in ensuring flawless digital experiences for millions of travellers worldwide. Key Responsibilities: Test Planning & Execution Own test plans for all user stories and features assigned via sprint backlog Test end-to-end booking flows and user journeys across CMS, booking engine, websites, payments and mobile apps Validate implementation quality before and after each monthly release cycle, including regression and smoke tests Validate and provide signoffs for core functionalities and newly released features in mobile app builds before production release, ensuring stability across platforms Verify app behavior across different OS versions, devices, and screen resolutions to ensure consistent user experience Conduct PVT (Production Validity Testing) and pre-UAT checks to minimize post-deployment risks Ensure proper test coverage for high-impact areas like booking, payment, and cross-device behavior Carry out thorough security checks to find and fix issues that could let attackers misuse the system, such as entering harmful code, unauthorized access, or data leaks. Use trusted guidelines and tools to help keep the website and apps safe for all users. Cross-Platform & Integration QA Test across multiple platforms: desktop, mobile web, and native mobile apps (iOS, Android, Huawei/China) Validate 3rd-party service integrations (payment gateways, loyalty systems, analytics tools, etc.) Automation & Tools Contribute to and maintain test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Robot Framework, and Postman Run API tests, load/performance tests, and utilize scanning tools to ensure scalability and reliability Identify and implement opportunities for automated regression testing Agile Participation Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, demos) Provide QA estimates, test scenarios, and risk assessments during planning Collaborate with Product Owners and Developers across time zones (Bangkok, Brisbane, Madrid) Knowledge Management Document test cases, scenarios, and QA processes in collaboration with the global digital team Support knowledge transfer from short-term QA vendors or outsourced staff Drive best practices for QA and help build scalable, repeatable testing processes Qualifications Minimum 5 years of QA/testing experience in web and mobile applications Strong understanding of CMS platforms, ecommerce/booking engines, and SaaS architecture, Experience with Sitecore is a plus. Experience in Agile environments with Jira, Confluence, and Git-based workflows Hands-on experience with Selenium, Robot Framework, Postman, and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter) Knowledge of mobile testing for both iOS and Android (including APK/IPA builds, push notifications, and deep linking) Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines Strong communication and documentation skills in English Comfortable working across global teams and multiple time zones Nice to Have: Prior experience in ecommerce, hospitality, travel tech, or online booking platforms Familiarity with testing in China-specific app ecosystems (e.g., Huawei App Gallery, WeChat integrations) ISTQB or equivalent QA certification Company Location: Minor Hotels Corporate
