Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Cyber Security Research experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience leading teams and conducting intelligence analysis involving complex threats from nation state actors. Must have extensive knowledge of all steps of the intelligence process and demonstrated ability to transform raw data into actionable cyber risk mitigation outcomes

  • Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience, detecting and mitigation nation state cyber threats.
  • Experience leveraging critical thinking skills to strategize and demonstrate innovate thinking and creativity to solve complex problems in fast paced environments.

  • Credibility necessary to establish relationships and lead collaboration exchanges with peer financial institutions and US Government agencies.
  • Experience conducting counterintelligence or insider threat related investigations.

Responsibilities

Wells Fargo is seeking a nation state all source threat analyst to assist our Cyber Threat Management team implement cutting edge capabilities that identify and assess strategic threats, including those from nation state actors, with the potential to compromise Wells Fargo’s data, workforce, or supply chain, and develop corresponding risk mitigation strategies.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead analytic and correlation efforts of large data sets to uncover attack techniques and identify nation state threats to the financial industry.
  • Curate Wells Fargo Priority Intelligence Requirements.
  • Review and analyze complex advanced computer security incident response activities and technical investigations for indications of compromise.
  • Detect and assess anomalous activities for links to possible nation state threats.
  • Maintain and enhance Cyber Threat Intelligence repositories and track nation state APT groups.
  • Participate in security risk assessments to ensure compliance with corporate information security policies and adherence to best practices.
  • Evaluate cyber and physical threats to Wells Fargo supply chains.
