We're looking for an experienced Senior Threat Researcher to join our Threatlabz team to contribute as Senior Threat Researcher, Reporting to the Senior Manager,Threat Research. You'll be responsible for: Researching emerging threats, malware, TTPs, and attack campaigns Building and refine detections across all detection platforms Owning and enhance the Threat Detection Efficacy Matrix Using red team methodologies and adversary emulation to test and validate detections Identifying detection gaps and drive improvements with cross functional teams What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications) 5+ years in Threat Research, Detection Engineering, or Threat Intelligence Strong understanding of adversary behaviors, attack chains, and MITRE ATT&CK Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, log analysis, and scripting (Python/PowerShell) Ability to translate research into actionable detections and measurable metrics Knowledge of red team emulation frameworks and detection bypass techniques What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Track detection KPIs and continuously improve coverage and fidelity Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills #LI-Hybrid #LI-PM5 At Zscaler, we are committed to building a team that reflects the communities we serve and the customers we work with.
