SENIOR TOXICOLOGIC PATHOLOGIST

Sequani is seeking a skilled professional to join our Pathology Sciences Department in Ledbury, Herefordshire, UK. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • FRCPath or Diplomate of ACVP or ECVP is necessary
  • Veterinary degree (DVM, VMD, BVM&S, BVSc or equivalent) is necessary
  • Higher qualification/MSc or PhD is beneficial, but not essential

Responsibilities
  • Advising on all aspects of anatomic and clinical pathology requirements in non-clinical safety studies as required for protocols
  • Supervising necropsies when required; to ensure dissection, sampling, and preservation according to the protocol requirements, and advise on the description and recording of macroscopic findings
  • Performing microscopic evaluation and interpretation of the findings, and to correlate these findings with macroscopic findings, organ weights, and clinical pathology findings
  • Interacting with internal and external clients in order to ensure client satisfaction with Pathology Sciences department deliverables
  • Supervising, peer-reviewing and advising pathologists in training in collaboration with Head of Pathology Sciences
