ABOUT THE ROLE:

With a strong pipeline of projects and continued growth across our Asia Pacific operations, we’re expanding our Rail team in Perth. We’re looking for a Senior Track Engineer who’s ready to lead, innovate, and deliver high-impact infrastructure solutions.
As a Senior Track & Civil Engineer, you’ll play a hands-on role in delivering complex rail design projects. You’ll support project progress, resource planning, and mentoring junior engineers. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of design outputs across all phases from concept to detailed design.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Lead and manage track design activities across conceptual, preliminary, and detailed phases.
  • Design ballasted and non-ballasted track structures, alignments, profiles, grading, and drainage.
  • Conduct clearance assessments for both greenfield and brownfield projects.
  • Review and verify engineering designs and reports before submission.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, high-quality outcomes.
  • Prepare design briefs, technical reports, calculations, and specifications.
  • Estimate quantities, prepare costings, and contribute to tender documentation.
  • Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior designers.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to develop design schedules and budgets.
  • Support business development through proposal contributions and client engagement.
