Role description The Global Marketing Team at Arethia is looking for a new member to take the lead on Trade Shows and Events for our three B2B flavor brands. As Trade Show and Event Specialist you will be based in Dubai where the majority of Trade shows are hosted and will work in close collaboration with Sales and Marketing colleagues based in Germany, Switzerland, UAE, and Indonesia. In this role you will also be well positioned to observe new market trends and innovations and will leverage this for creating quarterly ‘discovery days’ where we present innovations and trends to customers. Arethia’s brands are at varying stages of maturity, so you will have the opportunity to creatively influence and shape the trade fair presence and event execution of the brands. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Business, Project Management or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years’ experience in Trade show and Event management. Business-level communication skills in English. Readiness to travel to the EU/US regions for Events/Trade shows on short notice. Contact Our Process Preferred Qualifications Confident with Project Management and able to take a structured approach to developing and maintaining event timelines and schedules. Ensures effective communication with all stakeholders. Able to coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors and handle on-site Event management and troubleshooting. Experienced in ensuring compliance with health/safety regulations and overseeing the setup and teardown of event spaces. Experienced in monitoring industry trends and competitor activities both through trade fair attendance and desk research. Collaborative and inquisitive mindset for fostering a positive relationship with Sales & Marketing team members across our global offices. This is key for cross-functional projects related to the trade fairs, trend reports and 'discovery days'. Willingness to support on occasional ad-hoc marketing co-ordination tasks that require a physical presence in Dubai. Proficiency in any other language, is an advantage. Your Mission Book, plan, and execute 4+ trade shows from start to finish each year. Liaise closely with suppliers and negotiate prices, whilst ensuring a quality execution. Work closely with the rest of the Marketing Team to ensure on brand execution of all touchpoints. Plan and execute pre-show Marketing activities to ensure quality leads at the show and carry out the relevant post-show analysis. Build strong relationships with the Sales Teams to ensure trade shows meet their customers' needs. Immerse yourself in the flavour industry trends to deliver valuable input for the quarterly ‘discovery days’ and annual trend report.
Responsibilities
The Senior Trade Show & Events Specialist will book, plan, and execute over four trade shows each year, ensuring quality execution and brand alignment. They will also collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to analyze post-show results and contribute to quarterly trend reports.
