POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Trade Show Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of high-profile trade shows and events. This role will manage multiple projects simultaneously, oversee client relationships, and lead cross-functional teams to ensure flawless delivery of every aspect of our exhibit services. The ideal candidate brings deep industry knowledge, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead under pressure.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in trade show management, exhibit services, or event production
  • Strong understanding of exhibit production processes, logistics, and show regulations
  • Exceptional project management, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., Trello, Smartsheet, Basecamp)
  • Willingness to travel domestically as required (approx. 25–40%)

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience working with exhibit house software or ERP systems
  • Familiarity with CAD drawings, floor plans, and graphic production processes
  • Ability to read and interpret union labor rules and show manuals
  • CMP or CTSM certification is a plus

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the planning and execution of multiple trade show and exhibit projects from concept through completion
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, providing strategic guidance and top-tier service
  • Lead internal teams (design, production, logistics, and installation) to ensure projects meet client specifications, timelines, and budgets
  • Coordinate with external vendors, show organizers, and venues regarding show services, deadlines, and compliance requirements
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using project management tools and internal systems
  • Develop and manage budgets, approve expenditures, and ensure cost-effective solutions
  • Travel to trade shows and event sites as needed to supervise on-site execution and ensure quality standards
  • Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices
  • Mentor and support junior team members or project coordinators
