Title: Senior Training Manager, Truluck Center for Leadership Development Reports to: Director, truluck Center for Leadership Development Job Summary: The Senior Training Manager develops and delivers learning programs for the Heritage Enterprise. This position serves as the primary resource on training strategy, designing and implementing programs and instruction that advance Heritage’s objectives. Training content spans leadership and management, individual effectiveness, communications, IT, fundraising, operations, research, and project management. Programs are both third-party curated and customized. Delivery is traditional classroom (instructor-led), web-based, blended learning, and offsite. Job Duties: Execute an annual needs assessment to identify priorities, shape content, and guide resource allocation. Oversee the annual and long-term design, development, and delivery of learning resources for staff at all levels. Lead content development meetings with internal stakeholders, collaboratively identifying learning objectives and outcomes for all training initiatives. Develop training promotional materials; promote training opportunities through course registration fliers and emails, onboarding resources, and proactive outreach to increase awareness and participation. Design and deploy training evaluation processes and measurements to monitor and report upon the effectiveness of program offerings and ROI. In coordination with People Operations, maintain skill competencies for select career tracks and provide corresponding learning for professional development. Grow and maintain Heritage training vendor network, ensuring all trainers are properly vetted and contracted. Develop and maintain the staff training component on Heritage’s LMS and training content on internal share sites. Develop annual training budget, to include onsite organizational learning, learning conference attendance, individual offsite training, and traditional and online program offerings. Oversee maintenance of the Training Library and staff training records; prepare annual, quarterly, and weekly training reports. Qualifications: Education: BA/BS required, MBA or relevant advanced degree a plus Experience: 6+ years of relevant experience Communication: Strong public speaking, written, and verbal communication skills Technology: Microsoft Suite; LMS development and maintenance Other Requirements: Understand and support the Heritage mission and vision for America, and the department's goals and objectives. Ability to manage and coordinate frequent training on-site, off-site, and overnight events; strong attention to detail is critical. Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality. Excellent organizational planning, interpersonal, collaboration, and customer service skills. Basic knowledge of policy issues. The salary range for this role is $83,000 - $93,000 annually. This range is a good-faith estimate, and the final salary offered to a selected candidate depends on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, and other qualifications; internal and external market pay for comparable jobs; and level of hire based on aforementioned qualifications.
