About the job: The position holder will lead Transfer and Technical Projects with external partners in given time and budget to ensure Opella´s continues supply of products to the markets. As a Senior Transfer & Portfolio Optimization Project Lead, you’ll lead European and LATAM transfer initiatives and drive portfolio optimization for Opella products, working closely with supportive colleagues and trusted external partners. With a wide variety of galenic forms and manufacturing processes, the technical scope is as diverse as the people you’ll collaborate with. Add to that the horizontal and vertical transversal work approach, which includes some politics as well, and you´ll find an opportunity that’s as rewarding as it is engaging! Main responsibilities: Leading and managing of complex product transfers of medicinal products, medical devices, food supplement and cosmetics from and to contract external manufacturers or internal manufacturing sites Steering independently respective international and inter-disciplinary teams within an internal and external matrix structure Ensuring project delivery in-time and under consideration of quality, GMP and regulatory aspects as well as cost and supply chain effectivity Evaluating of detailed technical and financial assessments of product transfer ideas, resulting in transfer proposals Developing of comprehensive project plans including resource planning and budget Monitoring and reporting of project progress to all levels of management and stakeholders Ensuring of Opella’s interests in contract negotiations with contract manufacturers and preparation and negotiation of Transfer Agreements Provide profound technical expertise on final product production processes on all galenical forms for own projects, and act as technical expert consultant in case of need for the T&PO group members, as well as other EM functions Continuously improvement of the EM CHC transfer processes in close cooperation with corporate functions About you: University degree in natural sciences, pharmacy, engineering or similar relevant education with minimum 6 years of expertise in pharmaceutical industry Very advanced project management skills and transfer project management expertise Very strong knowledge and experience of/in pharmaceutical product manufacturing processes Very strong negotiation and communication skills as well as conflict management skills Business acumen Excellent cross functional collaboration skills, ability to work in an international environment Assertive in complex team structures, persistent, pragmatic and result orientated Ability to work independently in a continuously changing environment, proactive with can-do-attitude, looking for solutions and opportunities Preferably knowledge of international GMP and regulatory requirements, Drug acts; medical device guidelines and regulations Full command of English language (both written and spoken) Willingness to travel abroad Location: Budapest (Hungary) Remote working policy: 2 days per week.
