SUMMARY

Ardmore Roderick is seeking a Senior Transmission Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, analyze, and manage high-voltage transmission line projects, ensuring delivery of innovative solutions that meet client needs.

REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in transmission engineering, EPC experience preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, MicroStation, PLS-CADD, and MathCADD.
  • Strong collaboration, leadership, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, analysis, and engineering of high-voltage transmission lines, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Perform detailed engineering calculations and develop design documents, including plans, specifications, and drawings.
  • Oversee the preparation of PLS-CADD models, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, structural, and environmental engineers.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and client-specific guidelines.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while supporting scope changes and adjustments.
  • Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and professional development opportunities.
  • Support the preparation of RFP responses and participate in business development activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
