Description

We are looking for a Senior Transport Energy Data Analyst. This is a role based in Singapore with a specific focus on shaping new policies in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
The position requires a person with strong analytical, coding and research skills. Communicating complex data in a way that is both accessible and impactful is key for our advocacy. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to carry out technical analyses related to biomass, biofuels, and renewable fuels of non-biological origin in Excel and Python-based models, and to translate them into simple and persuasive data and policy messages.
Additionally, we need someone who can work autonomously and who takes initiative while having good interpersonal communication skills that are compatible with having frequent exchanges with our European team.

ADDITIONALLY, THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE ARE DESIRABLE:

  • Experience working closely with stakeholders in Asia-Pacific countries.
  • Expertise to strengthen the role such as understanding fuel markets and economics, knowledge of land use emissions and agriculture.
  • Asian languages (e.g. Mandarin, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean) are considered a bonus.
  • Project management experience including strong interpersonal and team-working skills and a track record in delivering to tight deadlines.
