Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transport Planner specializing in crowd modeling to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions for complex transportation challenges, with a focus on crowd management and pedestrian flow in urban environments. Lead and execute crowd modeling projects for large-scale transportation and urban development initiatives Analyze and interpret data to forecast pedestrian movement patterns and optimize transportation systems Develop comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate crowd modeling insights into broader transportation planning strategies Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in transport planning and crowd modeling Mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth of the department Ensure compliance with local and international transportation standards and regulations Participate in client meetings and proposal development to secure new projects Qualifications Master's degree in Transportation Engineering or a related field Minimum 7 years of experience in transport planning, with a strong focus on crowd modeling Advanced knowledge of crowd modeling software and transportation planning tools Proven track record in managing and delivering large-scale transportation projects Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail Excellent project management abilities and experience leading cross-functional teams Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal In-depth understanding of crowd dynamics and pedestrian flow principles Knowledge of local and international transportation standards and regulations Familiarity with sustainable transportation practices and their implementation Professional certification in transport planning (e.g., PTOE, PTP) preferred Experience working in the Middle East region is advantageous Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
