Description DCCM is seeking a Senior Transportation / Roadway Engineer to support the design and delivery of municipal and transportation infrastructure projects in our Southern California (Los Angeles area) office. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with approximately 15+ years of experience (flexible depending on qualifications), strong technical expertise, and effective communication skills. This role will focus on roadway and transportation design for local agency and state-funded projects. The successful candidate will be highly proficient in Civil 3D CADD and experienced in preparing roadway design plans, profiles, grading, and cross-sections consistent with municipal standards and Caltrans design criteria. Experience with complete streets, corridor improvements, and coordination with public agencies is desirable. The candidate should be capable of supporting project delivery from preliminary engineering through final design and construction support, while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required • Approximately 15+ years of relevant civil engineering experience (flexible depending on qualifications) • Strong proficiency with Civil 3D CADD • Experience preparing roadway design plans, profiles, grading plans, and cross-sections • Experience working on municipal or state transportation infrastructure projects • Familiarity with Caltrans design standards and municipal roadway design criteria • Experience with complete streets or corridor improvement projects preferred • Ability to support projects from preliminary engineering through final design and construction support • Strong collaboration and communication skills working with public agencies and multidisciplinary teams Benefits DCCM offers a highly competitive compensation package based on experience.
