Position Overview Vivalon is seeking an experienced Senior Transportation Supervisor to lead our driver workforce in San Francisco. This role serves as the first line of management for a team of drivers and attendants, ensuring high performance, safety, compliance, and a positive employee experience. You’ll play a key role in coaching, mentoring, and supporting frontline team members while helping maintain operational excellence in transportation services. This role requires a Commercial Driver's License! Requirements Key Responsibilities Monitor and analyze performance metrics (e.g., on-time performance, timesheets, SamSara data) and provide coaching and feedback Supervise, mentor, and support drivers and attendants to ensure high-quality service and compliance Conduct performance evaluations and deliver ongoing coaching, including corrective actions when necessary (in partnership with HR and Operations) Participate in recruitment efforts, including interviewing and hiring decisions Foster employee engagement through recognition programs and appreciation initiatives Conduct ride-alongs and “followings” to assess performance and provide real-time feedback Serve as Supervisor on Duty as needed, responding to employee concerns, safety incidents, and operational issues Support training programs, including onboarding, remedial training, and CDL development Respond to field incidents (accidents, safety concerns) and conduct audits Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects Assist as a backup driver or attendant when necessary Qualifications Proven leadership and supervisory experience Experience in transportation operations (preferably with driver oversight) Knowledge of ADA regulations and passenger transport safety standards Familiarity with state and federal safety regulations Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), or willingness to obtain one Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Knowledge of Vivalon service areas and contracts is a plus Compensation & Benefits Salary: $70,000–$80,000 annually (DOE) Comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, dental, vision, and chiropractic coverage Life insurance Retirement plan Paid time off and holidays Additional employee benefits
