DESCRIPTION

As a Senior Engineer working on a cross-functional product team, you will:

• Work closely with product owners and designers in their product discovery efforts
• Collaborate with fellow engineers to deliver meaningful value to its customers.
• Tackle difficult problems, solve them creatively, and learn continuously
• Play an active role, taking the initiative to get things done
• Learn, develop and extend our tech stack.

REQUIREMENTS

• Extensive software engineering ability especially in UI using React, and JavaScript.
• Strong foundation in React and CSS, understanding of the web platform and its APIs
• Understanding of browser APIs and how they can be utilized to create App-like interactive experiences.
• Understanding of React’s Rendering System: including what can trigger unnecessary re-renders and how to prevent them using built-in hooks
• Event handling, especially for complex interactions like dragging behavior.
• Documentation and Commenting: When faced with a time-limited task where it’s not possible to complete all specifications, it’s crucial to supplement the work with thorough documentation and comments.
• Effective communication skills are the key since this is a remote role and you are required to work autonomously but in a collaborative environment.
• Enthusiastic about quality, design and user experience
• Dedicated to learning and sharing new ideas
• Industry experience in web products would be great.
