Job Purpose The Senior UI/UX Copywriter is responsible for collaborating with product and creative teams to produce engaging, response driven copy for apps and online experiences. Responsible for conceptualising and articulating campaign and product ideas across multiple brands, developing compelling copy based on campaign and product concepts. The role involves ensuring consistency in tone and style, participating in strategic brainstorming, and managing multiple projects while maintaining high standards of copywriting Responsibilities Conceptualisation Conceptualise and articulate campaign ideas, copy for applications and online experiences across multiple brands within TIH. Collaborate with UX designers, and product owners to bring complex projects to life. Content Creation Write and edit compelling creative copy for applications, based on campaign and product concepts, that is business critical and highly visible. Ensure that the copy tone and style are consistent with the visual and brand tone and style. Participate in strategic brainstorming, feature development, and creative execution. Translate creative direction and copy points from briefs into engaging and effective copy concepts. Maintain high standards of copywriting and quality control. Stakeholder Engagement Contribute to stakeholder engagement through identifying stakeholders, finding out their needs/issues/concern and reacting to these by arranging meetings and events and drafting supporting materials to promote understanding and commitment. Maintain stakeholder relationships within multiple departments and functions. Collaborate with project teams to gain a deep understanding of business goals, target audience, and user needs. Utilise information to inform and guide the creation of effective and engaging copy that aligns with overall campaign and product strategies and enhances user experience. Improvement / Innovation Identify shortcomings and suggest improvements to existing processes, systems and procedures, then delivers a plan for a small element of a change management program with guidance from a project/program manager. Regularly review and assess current content and copy to identify areas of improvement. Responsible to implement changes to enhance content and copy quality, relevance and effectiveness, linking these efforts to innovations and continuous improvement. Document Preparation Write and edit material for various target populations, tailoring the tone and content to match the needs and expectations of each audience. Compile and format copy decks in a clear and logical manner, ensuring they adhere to organisational style guidelines specific to each content piece. This includes maintaining consistency and accuracy throughout the document. Personal Capability Building Act as subject matter expert in an area of technology, policy, regulation, or operational management for the team. Maintain external accreditations and in-depth understanding of current and emerging external regulation and industry best practices through continuing professional development, attending conferences, and reading specialist media. Education Grade 12/ SAQA Accredited Equivalent (Essential); Relevant degree/diploma in Copywriting /Marketing Communication/ Corporate Communication (Essential) Knowledge of web trends and technologies (Advantageous) Experience 5 or more years’ experience in copywriting, at least 2 of which have been spent in digital copywriting (Essential) Combination of corporate and agency experience (Advantageous); Experience in insurance industry (Advantageous) Think you have what it takes to be part of an unstoppable team who constantly finds better ways to give peace of mind?
