Are you a seasoned construction leader with a passion for complex underground infrastructure? FGJV is seeking a Senior Underground Construction Manager to lead the delivery of critical works within the Powerhouse Complex of one of Australia’s most iconic infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Senior Underground Construction Manager, you will be at the forefront of planning, coordinating, and executing underground construction activities. You’ll ensure that all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with project specifications, environmental regulations, and stakeholder expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead all underground construction activities within the Powerhouse Complex.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to manage complex schedules and resources.
  • Provide strong leadership to multidisciplinary construction teams.
  • Oversee quality control processes and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor budgets and drive cost-effective construction solutions.
  • Foster effective communication with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
