Job Description :
Position based at our Montreal office or Val-d’Or office
Provide mining engineering and design services for underground mine studies, such as scoping, prefeasibility, feasibility, detailed design, and N43-101 technical reports;
Coordinate mining engineering projects with the mining team and other engineering disciplines, such as electrical, mechanical, civil/structural, etc.;
Prepare and oversee the preparation of mining engineering drawings;
Prepare mining equipment specifications and assist with mining equipment procurement;
Write and contribute to study reports;
Prepare and contribute to proposals and assist with the business development process;
Mentor mining engineering staff;
Prepare CAPEX and OPEX cost estimates;
Maintain existing relationships and develop new ones with clients and be proactive in addressing their needs;
Manage the mining component of large projects;
Design mine infrastructures, ventilation systems and mining services.

Requirements :
Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Mining or Geological Engineering from a recognized University
Minimum of 10 years of underground mining experience in operations, engineering and/or project evaluation
Member in good standing with the OIQ
High level of proficiency with underground mine design and planning software packages (preferably with Deswik)
Operational experience related to underground mining
Consulting experience related to underground mining
Ability to manage client relationship
Fully fluent in French with reasonable communication skills in English.
