What you'll be doing Own your regional portfolio by underwriting medium to complex new business, renewals, schemes and endorsements within delegated authority Drive regional growth and profitability through disciplined underwriting, proactive portfolio management and sound commercial judgement Act as a trusted underwriting partner for brokers and clients, providing timely advice, solutions and support Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, distribution partners and internal stakeholders to support sustainable growth Identify opportunities to grow value through effective cross‑sell and up‑sell activity within the portfolio Uphold strong risk and compliance outcomes by operating as a first line of defence and adhering to underwriting and governance standards What you'll need to have You’ll be well suited to this role if you: Have solid underwriting experience within general insurance, ideally commercial lines, with at least 5 years’ experience You will have experience underwriting new business and renewals, confidently managing small to medium‑sized and more complex risks within delegated authority.
