Key Accountabilities & Role Requirements:  * Underwriting individual risks * Managing market dynamics through the market cycle * Pipeline and development of opportunities with key brokers * Managing internal stakeholders * Work within agreed Underwriting Authority and Westfield Specialty International Underwriting framework * Deputise for the Head of International Liability where required * Cross sell with other lines of business (particularly Property / FinPro) * Working with colleagues to train and develop more junior colleagues   Skills & Competencies Required:  * Proven experience underwriting GL risks in the Lloyd’s or international insurance market. * Strong technical knowledge of GL related risk. * Understanding of market cycles, broker dynamics, and regulatory environment within Lloyd’s and global insurance markets. * Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.   Qualifications & Experience:  * Minimum 5 years of underwriting experience in General Liability Insurance. * ACII qualification (or working towards completion)     This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
