Key Responsibilities: - Administer and maintain Unix and Linux servers across production, disaster recovery, and testing environments reliably. - Implement system upgrades, security hardening, patching, and proactive monitoring to ensure infrastructure stability and compliance. - Manage incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions aligned with service level agreements. - Execute change, release, and deployment activities ensuring minimal disruption to critical payment systems and services. - Monitor capacity, optimize performance, and support infrastructure projects while maintaining documentation and operational processes. Job Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field with strong infrastructure fundamentals and knowledge. - Minimum 6 years’ experience administering Unix, Linux, and middleware environments within enterprise or financial services organizations. - Hands-on expertise in scripting, automation, system monitoring, backup tools, and SAN storage technologies across environments. - Experience in OS hardening, patching, performance tuning, and supporting high availability production systems effectively. - Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
