As a key member of our urban development department, you will be deeply involved in the design and coordination of masterplans at multiple scales, through innovative and sustainable urban planning initiatives. Lead and manage complex urban planning projects from conception to implementation Develop comprehensive land use plans, zoning regulations, and urban design guidelines Conduct in-depth analysis of demographic, economic, and environmental data to inform planning decisions Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and environmental specialists Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to stakeholders, including government officials Integrate sustainable and smart city concepts into urban development strategies Mentor junior planners and contribute to the overall growth of the planning team Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in urban planning and sustainable development Qualifications Master's degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, or a closely related field Professional certification is preferred 7-10 years of progressive experience in urban planning, with a focus on large-scale urban development projects Proficiency in CAD and Adobe applications is required, while experience or familiarity with Revit and GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) will be considered an advantage. Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously Excellent data analysis and visualization capabilities Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish language proficiency is highly desirable In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabia’s urban planning regulations and policies will be considered an advantage. Demonstrated experience in sustainable urban design and smart city concepts Proven track record of successful collaboration with diverse stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to think strategically and develop visionary urban planning solutions
