Our growth in the last year has been phenomenal – people are looking for love and we’re helping thousands of people around the world get married every month. We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Senior User Researcher to join our growing UX team in London. As a senior member of the creative squad, you will lead impactful research initiatives that inform our product decisions and play a critical role in evolving our UX culture.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 6+ years of experience conducting UX research in product-led teams.
  • Experience designing and executing a broad mix of research methods: usability testing, interviews, focus groups, field studies, surveys, etc.
  • Strong portfolio or case studies demonstrating how your research influenced product decisions and delivered value.
  • Ability to work effectively in agile teams and communicate insights to cross-functional audiences.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and UX best practices.
  • Based in or able to commute to London 2 days per week.
  • Have current and valid eligibility to work in the UK

Join our UX team of 7 – a talented group of product designers with varying levels of experience – and help us shape the future of our Muslim marriage app. As our Senior User Researcher, you’ll own the research function and work cross-functionally to ensure our product decisions are grounded in deep user understanding.

  • Lead research projects: Take ownership of your designs from start to finish, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and align with our product vision.
  • Upskill the team: Share research best practices and help grow research capability across the design team, particularly supporting junior and mid-level designers in applying user-centered methods.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with product managers, data analysts, and stakeholders to bring user needs to the forefront of decision-making.
  • Improve research operations: Establish and refine scalable research practices, helping our team become more insight-led and efficient.
  • Champion evidence-based design: Promote a culture of user-informed thinking through impactful storytelling and clear communication of findings.
  • Uncover deep user insight: Use a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods to reveal user behaviours, needs, and motivations.
  • Contribute to UX strategy: Play an integral role in shaping our long-term UX and product vision through insight-driven input.
  • Stay current: Keep up with emerging trends in research methods, ethics, and tools to continuously improve how we learn from our users
