Description
Working with product partners, you will combine qualitative and quantitative data to inform product decisions, and to represent the voice of the user. Conduct research that identifies and clarifies who the user is, including critical parts of their context in order to inform product strategy and user experience direction, as well as key customer needs, jobs to be done, and user journeys. Contribute to the data-driven formation of the solution and its alignment to customer needs by partnering with product management, design, and engineering, and by leading generative research to inform problem framing. Collaborate with team to create well-formed user experience goals, signals, metrics, and criteria, and to hold team accountable to take a multi-dimensional view into user experience health and measurement. Assess user insights along user journey from awareness, through adoption, and retention, and address different parts of the funnel as appropriate, leveraging both quantitative and qualitative data. Apply experience check points to ensure accountability of product quality and inform product strategy, leveraging a combination of user experience testing methodologies. Proactively identify and prioritize research needs and potential problem areas that need to be researched, and then create and drive plans for research studies and/or programs. Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in generative AI. Bachelor's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communications, Information Science, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, or related field AND 4+ years User Experience Research experience OR Master's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communications, Information Science, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, or related field AND 3+ years User Experience Research experience OR Doctorate in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communications, Information Science, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, or related field AND 1+ year(s) User Experience Research experience OR equivalent experience. Experience with AI agent development and prompt fine tuning. 3+ years relevant domain experience on highly technical product spaces within technology sector 3+ years experience in research methods impacting both product direction and detailed experience design Demonstrated success in customer-facing roles Organizational skills & track record of driving research programs at scale
