PRIMARY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years conducting quantitative UX research and data analysis
  • 2+ years conducting qualitative studies (e.g., interviews, ethnography, concept testing)
  • Strong command of usability testing methodologies and translating findings into actionable improvements
  • Demonstrated experience developing user personas, journey maps, and mental models
  • Track record of influencing product decisions in fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environments
  • Must-have: Hands-on experience with AI-powered products—such as chatbots, agentic tools, or intelligent workplace assistants
  • Strong storytelling, communication, and collaboration skills across technical and executive audiences
  • Familiarity with tools like Figma, Maze, Lookback, Dovetail, UserTesting, Hotjar, Airtable, or similar
  • Bonus: Comfort querying and analyzing data using SQL or dashboarding tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in the office space, real estate, facilities, or workplace technology industries
  • Experience scaling research practice within a growing product organization
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum product development processes
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working independently in a remote-first team
Responsibilities
  • Lead UX research initiatives across the product portfolio—including emerging AI-powered features like workplace assistants, chatbots, and agentic tools.
  • Own the end-to-end research process, from scoping and planning to synthesis and executive presentation.
  • Drive both tactical and strategic research that informs near-term design and long-term product strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and data scientists to align research with roadmap priorities.
  • Apply a mixed-methods approach (qualitative and quantitative), including user interviews, concept testing, usability studies, surveys, behavioral data analysis, and in-product experiments.
  • Define and champion research best practices; mentor peers and help mature research as a function across the org.
  • Develop journey maps, personas, and frameworks that shape holistic user understanding and scalable design systems.
  • Communicate insights through powerful storytelling, presentations, and data visualization to influence decisions at all levels of the company.
  • Work autonomously to identify high-impact research opportunities that help us build smarter, faster, and more human-centered workplace tools.
  • Measure the impact of UX initiatives by tying research findings to key business metrics like engagement, retention, and operational efficiency.
