5+ years working as a UX and UI Designer or Product Designer, including experience conducting UX research
Formal education in a relevant field such as Design, Research, Human Computer-Interaction, or similar
Shipped multiple digital products and understand what it takes to create exceptional customer experiences
Excellent portfolio showcasing in-depth knowledge and experience of UX and UI for mobile, desktop and web-based applications. A focus on native mobile is highly regarded
End-to-end experience of managing design activities across the user-centered design process including strong design research skills, iterative design and prototyping and facilitation of usability testing
AI-native approach to design, comfortable creating high-quality artefacts such as personas, journey maps, task models, wireframes and interactive prototypes directly through AI tools, with minimal reliance on traditional design software
Experience with AI prompting for design workflows, preferably with Claude (this is a distinct skill set to the design experience above — we don’t expect 5+ years of AI prompting experience)
Comfortable working independently and driving a design agenda with limited day-to-day design peer support
Comfortable working in an Agile environment and resilience in the face of shifting priorities
Boundless curiosity about how people use technology and how to create great experiences
Highly regarded: experience with wealth management, investment platforms, or business-to-business / customer relationship environments.
