Role:
You’re excited at the prospect of playing a pivotal role by working closely with the multidisciplinary team of project leads, engineers, data scientists, and designers. You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty by doing some hands-on work, but you’re also a strategic thinker with insight and creativity. You’re excited at the prospect of working on a new brand and cementing it as a leader in the wearable technology space. Lastly, you are well-rounded and flexible, enjoy being part of small teams that make a big impact and love working in startups.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor degree in Design or related field
  • 10+ years designing mobile apps
  • Online portfolio demonstrating a range of UI/UX design work (applications and web portals)
  • Proficiency with standard prototyping and design tools such as UXpin, Sketch, Figma, Adobe CC.
  • Experience in working with brand guidelines utilizing an existing online design system
  • Experience working in agile leading small teams
  • Passion to lead team members to successful completion of projects and to ensure the delivery of a positive customer experience
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborate effectively with other team members
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects, deadlines, detail oriented and results-driven
  • Ability to think critically and devise solutions with business and user goals in mind
Responsibilities
  • Create design solutions and have the creativity and judgment to translate a customer-centric design vision into concepts that are simple, intuitive and visually refined.
  • Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, new functions and features.
  • Take smart risks and champion new ideas.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to the team
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional agile teams spanning strategy, business readiness, product management, UX and technology.
  • Create a culture of holistic experience design, thinking explicitly about every point of contact that impacts the client experience.
  • Set measurable goals and examine ways to raise standards, to increase quality, and to improve overall performance of the team.
  • Forecast design technology needs to enable team success. Collect and share research from a variety of sources, internal/external experts, the Web, books, etc. to stay abreast of design tools and techniques.
