Responsibilities

VERSAPAY IS SEEKING A SR. UX/UI PRODUCT DESIGNER TO JOIN OUR PRODUCT DESIGN TEAM. THIS ROLE REQUIRES PROVEN EXPERIENCE DELIVERING COMPLEX B2B PRODUCTS THAT USERS LOVE, GROUNDED IN EXCELLENT USER-BACKED INSIGHTS AND TESTING.

As a Sr. UX/UI Product Designer at Versapay, your role is critical to the success of our core product suite. Your initial primary focus will be delivering an innovative Collections module that leverages AI and Machine Learning.
This role reports directly to the VP of Design and will partner with a US-based Sr. Product Designer.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Be the day-to-day design partner for Collections: Embed with our squad in Israel focused on building a leading module for Collections in our Accounts Receivable Efficiency Suite. Partner with our US-based Sr. Product Designer. This requires availability to work with the local team (Sun-Thurs \u007C IL TZ) as well as with several functions located mainly on the US East Coast (Mon-Fri \u007C ET). It will be a dynamic and fast-paced experience, working directly with PMs and Engineers to iteratively build a product experience that eases the burden of collections teams, helping them bring cash into their businesses in a timely manner while providing an amazing and innovative user experience.
  • Operate as a strategic and collaborative designer: Lead this impactful project by aligning design with business goals while putting the customer at the center. Communicate a strong product vision through presentations, prototypes, and user flows. Contribute to cohesive and high-quality solutions as a top-notch partner to Product Managers, Engineers, Product Marketers, and the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Ensure successful build-out and adherence to Versapay’s product design system: Collaborate with designers, PMs, and engineers to build and maintain our design system. Use this project to implement a new design system and be a key contributor to bringing this new experience to life for our customers and prospects.
  • Obsess over our customers through UX research: Dive deep into customer workflows to uncover valuable experiences and gaps to address. Tell compelling user stories to guide our design work. Independently conduct discovery research, customer interviews, usability testing, and workshops to validate design decisions, ensuring alignment with user needs and expectations. Challenge assumptions and ask questions. Be data-informed in decision-making. Note: Versapay’s customer base is located in North America.
  • Move and learn fast: Drive iterative prototyping, foster a culture of continuous testing, and contribute to shaping the product vision for both long-term and short-term releases that deliver customer value.
  • Lead across and up through Design Thinking: Champion Design Thinking principles to drive product decisions and roadmap. Educate on user-centered design, empathy, and creative problem-solving. Conduct workshops and use divergent and convergent methods to envision and create our next-gen product design. Get teammates excited about a non-linear design process and collaborate on feedback loops to continuously learn and improve the product.
  • Own sprint delivery with flexibility: Self-manage project timelines in an Agile sprint environment with commitments. Drive projects to completion on time and with high-quality standards. Stay self-motivated, keep stakeholders informed, and adapt positively to sprint changes or interruptions. Collaborate with the Design Team and seek stakeholder feedback to enhance design processes.
  • Tell great stories and present your work in winning ways: Excellent presentation skills are a must. As a member of a squad working on a key strategic initiative, you’ll have ample opportunity to present to a variety of key stakeholders and give product design updates. Embrace telling great stories to highlight the work and get your colleagues and the company excited about what you’re doing.
