We’re hiring an experienced, hands-on, data-driven Senior Validation Engineer to lead validation of stereo depth cameras, with a primary focus on camera functional validation and camera HW/system validation. You will own validation strategy and execution, build automation and data infrastructure, and deliver high-quality evidence to support release readiness. Main Areas of Focus Stereo depth camera validation (performance, robustness, reliability, functional behavior) Camera functional validation (functionality, diagnostics, safe behaviors under faults) HW/system validation (sensor HW + firmware/drivers + compute + interfaces) Data collection, analysis, KPI definition and automation infrastructure maintenance and development What you’ll do Own end-to-end validation of stereo depth cameras across HW + FW + drivers + SW, in lab and field conditions Define and execute validation plans: sanity, regression, deployment/upgrade, stress/endurance, and failure reproduction Lead Functional Validation for stereo depth cameras Drive HW/System Validation Maintain Automation Infrastructure Perform deep data analysis of rosbags/logs/telemetry to detect regressions, quantify performance, and support root-cause isolation Maintain traceability: Requirements → Test Cases → Verification Evidence → Release/Deployment. Collaborate tightly with R&D/Algo/HW/FW/System teams to close the loop: issue → fix → verification Requirements 5+ years in validation/system testing of complex multidisciplinary products (robotics/sensing preferred) Strong System functional validation experience for sensors or mission critical-related functions (evidence-driven, fault-oriented testing) Strong Python (automation + analysis: pytest/numpy/pandas/matplotlib or similar) Strong hands-on ROS/ROS2 (nodes/topics, TF, rosbag record/playback, timing/debugging) Strong HW/SW troubleshooting mindset: sensors, drivers/firmware, Linux, networking, timing/sync Proven experience building automation/test infrastructure (repeatability, scalability, regression pipelines) Experience producing structured validation reports and release readiness conclusions Nice to have Stereo depth / 3D perception validation background (depth quality KPIs, edge cases, robustness, failure modes) ROS2 DDS/QoS, multi-machine deployments, time sync & performance profiling Experience with sensor calibration, synchronization, triggering, and multi-camera systems CI/CD, Docker, dashboards/log pipelines Location Haifa, Israel Department R&D Employment Type Full-Time
