It works closely with the Valuer-General, internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver accurate, compliant valuations in line with legislation and standards. The role also supports service delivery, contributes to policy and process improvements, and helps guide and develop staff. Success in this role ensures high-quality, trusted valuations that support government decisions, maintain strong standards and build confidence in public sector valuation practices.    What we’re looking for You’re someone who can;   • Enjoys solving problems and applying critical thinking to find practical solutions.• Can use digital tools effectively and understand emerging technology trends.• Can communicate clearly and confidently, including on difficult or sensitive issues.• Can build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and add value to their work.• Can work flexibly, adapt to changing priorities, and collaborate well with internal and external teams.   To access the Position Description, please click here.     Qualifications and experience You’ll bring:   Completion of an appropriate tertiary qualification with Certified Practising Valuer (CPV) status and membership with the Australian Property Institute (API) (mandatory). Knowledge of the Valuation of Land Act 1960, and other relevant legislation, regulations and standards governing the provision of valuation advice by the Valuer-General (mandatory). Experience in valuations for a variety of government purposes (highly desirable). Knowledge of the government processes and land administration matters (desirable). Driver’s License (mandatory)     Pre-employment checks and employment conditions Relevant pre-employment screening and reference checks will be required. Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the nature of the position.
