In your role as a Senior Vendor Manager (m/f/d) you will help Flink continue to revolutionize how people shop by ensuring we have the most attractive product offering.

Job Description

  • Full P&L responsibility for your category, including developing plans to increase sales and profitability
  • Manage vendor relationships, including negotiations and creating joint business plans
  • Create long-term strategies for your category and a clear framework for measuring success
  • Make data-driven decisions and stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce developments
  • Think with a consumer-centric mindset in all aspects of your work, from selection to presentation and activation of the assortment on Flink channels
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of junior to mid-level managers, supporting their career growth and development, and taking responsibility for the team’s results
  • Work closely with other teams, such as Retail Media, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Hub operations to ensure growth, including building and executing project plans
  • Identify potential areas for optimization and new revenue streams to further build the company

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years experience in Key Account or Partnership Management (e-commerce or grocery industry)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or similar field
  • Proven ability to use data to inform business decisions and influence stakeholders
  • Experience with business plans and P&L management
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Professional working proficiency (C1) in English and German

  • Digital marketing/media experience
  • Category Management/Buyer experience
