We are currently seeking a Senior Ventilation Engineer to join our Underground Mining team at our Sunrise Dam Gold Mine. Reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent. This position supports the wider Mine Technical Services team function including overseeing Ventilation Engineers and Ventilation Technicians.
This role is based at our Sunrise Dam site on an 8/5 and 4/4 FIFO roster. We operate direct flights to our sites from Perth and/or Kalgoorlie.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Oversee the delivery of underground ventilation system to ensure a safe working atmosphere for all employees.
• Lead the planning of ventilation infrastructure to ensure compliance with approved ventilation plans.
• Preparation and distribution ventilation plans.
• Provide ventilation specific input into mine plans and schedules.
• Complete statutory ventilation surveys of the primary and secondary networks.
• Manage the secondary ventilation systems and processes
• Underground infrastructure and projects work as instructed.
