Job Description Main Responsibilities: Communicate effectively with vessel owners/masters/charterers, trading team and other relevant parties. Understanding of Stowage Plan optimization Bunkering Optimization ensure close collaboration with bunker desk to successfully manage bunker planning Understanding principles of Voyage Profit & Loss Resolve claims with support of the legal team Manage assigned external relations with customers and / or vendors Nurture a positive working relationship with the various stakeholders Support the less experienced team members Contribute to process and practices improvements Support the commercial team Experience: At least 6 years of experience operating bulkers on Time Charter Experience at Sea or with a shipowners would be an advantage Education: University degree in Shipping Languages: Fluency in English is a must Soft skills: An interest in and aptitude for people management Customer focused and relationship building with key accounts (Internal Customers and ship owners) Accountability and strong sense of ownership, team play and collaboration.
