Job Description Objective of the position: This position sits in our Freight Platform and will offer the opportunity to join one of the major global dry bulk freight operators, shipping 55 million tons of cargoes per year, concentrating integrated activities of chartering, trading and market analysis. Main Responsibilities: Communicate and liaise with vessel owners/masters/charterers, trading team and other relevant stakeholders Responsible for following up on post fixture activities Basic understanding of Stowage Plan Bunkering Optimization ensure close collaboration with bunker desk to successfully manage bunker planning Monitor vessel performance with assistance from 3rd party Routing providers Understanding principles of Voyage Profit & Loss Understanding of main charter party clause Manage assigned external relations with customers and / or vendors Ensure and champion a close and harmonious working relationship with the relevant Commercial team Collaborate effectively with other Freight Platform desks Qualifications Experience: Min 3 years as Operator of Time Charter dry bulk vessel Experience at Sea, preferably as officer on dry bulk vessels Knowledge: Significant and demonstrated customer or supplier relationship skills Macroeconomics including trade flows Good math and logical thinking skills Analytical skills Negotiating and problem solving skills Systems: Proficient in use if technology particularly Excel, Word Shipping system (strong preference for IMOS) Languages: Fluent English is essential Bulgarian and Russian as an advantage Other skills and competencies: An interest in and aptitude for people management Customer focused and relationship building with key accounts (Internal Customers and ship owners) Accountability and strong sense of ownership, team play and collaboration Enjoys working to tight time constraints Personal drive and the ability to motivate others Innovative, adaptable, flexible Good verbal and written communication High level of commitment on Compliance aspects and work ethics Additional Information SELECTION PROCESS The Selection Process will follow the below mentioned approach: Application Screening HR Interview Team Interview (possibly Face-To-Face) We offer Competitive salary and benefits Private medical insurance Life insurance Flexible working Access to Training and Development Food vouchers Transportation Allowance Sports card with 90/10 coverage 25 days annual leave Modern office in communicative location Fruits days in the office Hybrid model of working Diversity & Inclusion LDC is driven by a set of shared values and high ethical standards, with diversity and inclusion being part of our DNA.
