In clinic we also have a great relationship with the Petbarn team who are conveniently located under the same roof! This also allows for a steady stream of cross-referrals and helps achieve a truly positive experience for all our clients and their pets - and with the Animal Emergency Centre covering the night care of our patients, there are no afterhours required for this role! What You'll be Doing: Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care Performing minor procedures when required Encouraging team development and education Supporting junior staff Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment Handling client enquiries professionally in person, by email and over the phone Who We're Looking For: If you’re an experienced veterinary nurse who’s passionate about providing exceptional care and loves working in a dynamic, supportive team, we’d love to meet you! Here’s what we’re hoping you bring: A Cert IV qualification in Veterinary Nursing with a min. 2+ years of hands-on experience Surgical confidence and a strong understanding of veterinary nursing procedures Positivity and enthusiasm for your job, with plenty of energy and optimism, eager to learn and grow your career! Ability to work quickly and efficiently with a team-first attitude Experience in leading or mentoring would be highly regarded Excellent communication and customer service of course!
