Essential Duties and Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Develop and execute long-term corporate strategy in alignment with the company’s mission and growth objectives. Partner closely with R&D to align business goals with technology roadmaps. Identify emerging trends, customer needs, and regulatory landscapes shaping the molecular data storage industry. Business Development and Partnerships Lead all aspects of business development including partnership identification, evaluation, negotiation, and execution. Establish and manage strategic collaborations. Drive go-to-market strategies and commercialization of DNA storage technology across enterprise, government, and scientific markets. Represent the company externally at industry events, conferences, and with key stakeholders to elevate brand visibility and influence. Leadership and Team Development Build and mentor a high-performing Strategy and Business Development team. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration across the organization. Qualifications 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in strategy, corporate development, or business development within the technology infrastructure domain, with deep understanding of technology commercialization, partnership ecosystems, and emerging markets at the intersection of biotech and data infrastructural computing, or advanced materials industries. Proven track record of structuring and closing complex strategic partnerships and commercial agreements. Deep understanding of technology commercialization, intellectual property strategy, and market entry in emerging tech sectors. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills; adept at influencing across executive, investor, and partner audiences. Experience working in or with early-stage and high-growth technology companies preferred. Advanced degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field; MBA or PhD desired.
