The Role: Blazing a Trail as Our SVP of Marketing The Senior Vice President of Marketing is a pivotal executive leadership role responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive, multi-channel marketing strategy to significantly drive brand awareness, customer engagement and retention, and system-wide sales growth across all franchise locations. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and working closely with the executive team, you will be the ultimate steward of the Cheba Hut brand, ensuring consistency and developing creative, impactful campaigns that resonate with our passionate audience. Key Responsibilities: Your Daily Grind Strategic Brand Leadership & Management Develop and execute a comprehensive national marketing strategy to accelerate growth and market penetration. Serve as the brand's primary advocate, ensuring the Cheba Hut identity remains strong, consistent, and creatively innovative across all platforms and campaigns. Collaborate with executive leadership (Operations, Development, Tech, Business Services) to align marketing priorities and goals with overall company objectives. Monitor competitor activities and industry trends, positioning Cheba Hut at the forefront of the market. Advertising, Promotions, & Public Relations Plan and manage national and regional advertising across traditional (TV, radio, print) and digital media channels. Oversee public relations efforts to maximize positive exposure and build brand equity. Lead social media strategy to build a passionate community, increase brand loyalty, and ensure timely, relevant, and brand-aligned content. Franchise Support & Collaboration Partner with franchisees to develop effective localized marketing initiatives that support HQ objectives and drive local traffic and sales. Provide training and resources to franchise owners on best marketing practices. Customer Insights & Financial Stewardship Own and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and demonstrating clear ROI and ROAS on all campaigns. Utilize data-driven decision making—analyzing customer behavior, trends, and key marketing metrics—to continuously optimize targeting and refine strategies. In conjunction with the analytics team, analyze sales performance for new restaurant openings to ensure accurate forecasting. Team Leadership & Development Provide direct supervision and mentorship to the marketing department’s management team, overseeing the professional development and performance of the entire department. Requirements What You'll Bring to the Table Required Experience, Skills & Abilities Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred). Proven, measurable success in developing and executing high-impact marketing strategies, ideally within the restaurant, hospitality, or franchise business sectors. Deep understanding of consumer behavior, restaurant market dynamics, and industry trends. Demonstrated success in leading, managing, and mentoring high-performing marketing teams. Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage large budgets and clearly demonstrate return on investment (ROI). Excellent executive-level communication, negotiation, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Advanced digital marketing expertise, including strategy for social media, SEO, and PPC advertising. Working Conditions & Travel This role is primarily based in an office setting at Cheba Hut HQ in Fort Collins, CO with limited remote capabilities.
