APH offers customized services for Medicaid, Medicare, and the ACA/Marketplace lines of business.       POSITION PURPOSE     The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Respiratory Programs serves as the executive leader responsible for the strategic direction, development, and execution of respiratory care initiatives within a population health framework. This role focuses on advancing outcomes in Population Outcome Management, Complex Respiratory Management, Enhanced Respiratory Care, Quality Enhancement Initiatives, and Remote Monitoring. The SVP will oversee program design, clinical integration, operational excellence, and innovation to ensure the highest quality of care delivery while aligning with organizational goals and value-based healthcare objectives.  The SVP is a visible and collaborative leader who partners with executive leadership, clinical teams, payor partners, and external stakeholders to drive measurable improvements in patient outcomes, reduce avoidable hospitalizations, and optimize long-term respiratory health management.        DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES    Strategic Leadership & Program Development  * Provide executive oversight of all respiratory programs, ensuring alignment with organizational mission, vision, and population health strategy. * Develop and execute innovative models for complex respiratory management, including COPD, asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, and other chronic conditions. * Establish long-term goals and performance benchmarks to improve patient outcomes, reduce costs, and enhance quality of life for members. * Lead the development of scalable remote monitoring and telehealth strategies to extend respiratory care into the home setting. Population Health & Outcome Management  * Oversee implementation of evidence-based practices and clinical pathways to drive measurable improvements in population outcome management. * Collaborate with data analytics teams to identify trends, gaps in care, and opportunities for proactive intervention. * Ensure programs are designed to meet quality metrics for value-based care, HEDIS measures, and risk-based contracting agreements. Clinical & Operational Excellence  * Provide executive guidance to respiratory therapists, clinical leaders, and program managers to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care delivery. * Establish care coordination models that integrate respiratory programs with primary care, specialty providers, hospitals, and post-acute settings. * Oversee development and implementation of patient education, self-management support, and caregiver engagement programs. Quality Enhancement & Compliance  * Lead Quality Enhancement Initiatives (QEI) aimed at improving clinical standards, patient safety, and operational workflows. * Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, CMS guidelines, and accreditation standards. * Drive continuous improvement processes through performance reviews, audits, and data-driven decision-making. Innovation & Technology Integration  * Champion the integration of advanced technologies, including AI-driven analytics, wearable monitoring devices, and telehealth platforms. * Evaluate emerging trends in respiratory care and population health management to keep the organization at the forefront of innovation. Stakeholder Engagement & Representation  * Build and maintain strong relationships with payors, healthcare systems, and community partners to support program sustainability and expansion. * Represent the organization at national conferences, advisory boards, and industry forums as a thought leader in respiratory population health. Team Leadership & Development  * Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing leadership team across respiratory programs. * Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, inclusivity, and collaboration across the organization.     SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS  * Fifteen (15+) years of experience in respiratory care and healthcare. * Ten (10+) years in senior leadership or executive roles, clinical respiratory care, population health, or chronic disease is strongly preferred. * Proven track record in developing, implementing, and scaling clinical programs within a population health or complex care environment. * Ability to articulate a clear strategic direction and inspire teams to achieve ambitious goals. * Deep knowledge of respiratory therapy, post-acute care pathways, and complex chronic disease management. * Skilled in P&L management, value-based contracting, and resource optimization. * Proven track record of operational turnarounds, process standardization, and program scaling. * Strong data interpretation skills for KPI tracking, trend analysis, and forecasting. * Exceptional interpersonal skills for cross-sector collaboration and stakeholder engagement. * Demonstrated emotional stability, professional appearance, and adherence to patient confidentiality regulations. * Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and HIPAA-compliant data handling practices.     EDUCATION, LICENSES, & CERTIFICATION  * Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy, nursing, healthcare administration, public health, or a related field required. * Master’s degree in respiratory therapy, nursing, healthcare administration, public health, or a related field preferred. * Clinical licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), RN, or other applicable discipline strongly preferred. * Doctoral degree (PhD, DNP, DrPH, or equivalent) desirable. * Professional certifications in healthcare quality, population health, or leadership (e.g., CPHQ, FACHE) are preferred. * Advanced certifications in pulmonary rehabilitation, asthma/COPD management, or population health management preferred. * Active and unencumbered state licensure (if applicable to clinical discipline) strongly preferred. * A combination of equivalent education and professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements.   BENEFITS & TOTAL REWARDS  * Paid Orientation and Training  * Insurance – Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life * 401k Plan – 3% match * Employee Assistance Program * Tuition Reimbursement * Continued Education Support * Mileage Reimbursement (if applicable) * Referral Bonuses * Paid Holidays (9 days) * Flexible Time Off * Paid Volunteer Hours    CHARACTER & COMPETENCIES  * Courage – To have the courage to the right thing at the right time. * Ownership – To take ownership of every issue you touch. * Respect – To respect yourself, co-workers, and for those whom you care. * Excellence – To be excellent in all that you do. * Diversity - Demonstrates knowledge of EEO policy;
