Description

Bachelor's degree or work experience equivalent 10+ years of experience in transaction banking, with at least 5-7 years in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst role. Strong grasp of payment processing workflows, including instruction enrichment, validation, and routing logic. Knowledge of transaction classification, foreign exchange determination, and cut-off/value date logic. Awareness of messaging standards (e.g., ISO 20022, SWIFT MT) and regulatory frameworks (e.g., AML, PSD2, FATF). Experience working with data lakes, cloud-based data platforms, and enterprise data warehouses. Ability to collaborate with engineering teams on data modeling, schema design, and data integration. Experience in data lifecycle management, including ingestion, transformation, and distribution. Ability to translate business needs into data-driven user stories and acceptance criteria. Ability to define and enforce data quality rules, monitor data integrity, and manage remediation workflows. Experience as a Product Owner in Agile/Scrum environments, with a solid grasp of Agile principles, ceremonies and backlog prioritization/management. Ability to write clear and actionable user stories, define acceptance criteria, and manage a product backlog. Strong stakeholder management skills — capable of balancing the needs of operations, compliance, IT, and clients. Experience collaborating with development teams, testers, and business SMEs to deliver high-quality solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work cross-functionally across business and technical teams. Ability to analyze trends and use data to inform product decisions and drive operational efficiency. Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Excel, and data visualization tools. Strong communication and documentation skills — able to translate complex payment processes into business and technical requirements. High attention to detail, especially in compliance- and risk-sensitive environments. Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting. Comfortable working in a global, cross-functional team and across different time zones
