REQUIREMENTS

• A portfolio showcasing high profile projects for major brands that demonstrate both visual excellence and UX depth
• Mastery of Figma for both UI design and prototyping, including component driven systems
• Strong capabilities in motion and animation design for digital interfaces
• Proven ability to lead discovery, research, and validation phases of product design
• Excellent written and spoken English with the ability to communicate at an executive level
• Ability to operate independently while also providing creative leadership for others
• Preference for candidates based in Florida for potential in person collaboration

THE ROLE

We are seeking a Senior Product & Visual Designer who has been at the creative forefront of an exceptional large scale digital product. You will be someone who can point to marquee projects such as Disney, or other globally recognized brands.
This role combines elite visual execution with deep UX mastery. You will own the entire design process, from research and discovery, through concept and motion prototyping, to polished production ready deliverables ensuring the product’s visual and experiential language aligns with client goals and Vermillion’s design philosophy.

You will be expected to:

• Lead projects from a blank canvas to a fully realized product in Figma
• Conduct thorough UX research including customer interviews, journey mapping, and usability testing
• Translate insights into strategies that directly drive measurable client outcomes
• Create high fidelity UI, design systems, and interactive prototypes including motion and animation work (such as storytelling, animations, and interaction sequences)
• Represent Vermillion with clients, leading conversations that connect design decisions to tangible business results
• Set the creative standard for junior designers, providing guidance and critique when the team expands

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define and own the end to end product design process
• Lead user research, customer development sessions, and UX testing
• Produce wireframes, interactive prototypes, visual comps, and animation prototypes
• Present designs with a clear articulation of business impact and design rationale
• Ensure every deliverable meets Vermillion’s premium quality standard and is built to achieve specific client goals
• Collaborate closely with developers for flawless handoff and execution
