Role: Senior Visual Merchandiser
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 per annum (based on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week – (Monday to Friday, no weekends)
Location: Store locations around the UK

We are looking for a Senior Visual Merchandiser to join our team, to effectively manage the visual aspects of our stores including room sets, product displays, POS and lighting to create an engaging ambience for customers. We’re looking for a creative individual, who has proven VM experience and the ability to commercially enhance our stores to a very high standard.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Visual Merchandiser for retail – furniture industry preferred
· Ability to effectively utilise space and create functional, visually appealing layouts
· Strong understanding of interior design principles, colour theory, and visual merchandising trends
· Innovative and creative thinking to develop unique and engaging displays
· Meticulous execution of display arrangements, ensuring consistency across all stores
· Clear communication with store staff, management, and the Marketing team to align merchandising strategies
· Experience of CAD programmes, e.g. Google SketchUp
· Must have commercial awareness and the ability to work to budgets

Responsibilities

· Develop and implement floor plans for furniture displays, considering traffic flow, product placement and room sets.
· Design and arrange furniture sets to create inviting living spaces within the store.
· Utilise props and accessories to enhance the aesthetic of each display.
· Build and maintain visually appealing displays, incorporating seasonal trends, colour palettes, and current design aesthetics.
· Arrange furniture, lighting, and decor to highlight key features and benefits of each product.
· Work with the Marketing team to adhere to established brand guidelines and visual merchandising standards across all stores.
· Maintain a cohesive look and feel throughout the sales floor, keeping consistency across all stores.
· Train sales staff on product knowledge and how to effectively present furniture displays to customers.
· Produce display guidelines for each new furniture range to ensure consistency in styling across all stores.
