Franquette Creperie is a French-inspired restaurant in Bowral, offering a contemporary dining experience influenced by the traditions of Brittany. Our menu features savoury buckwheat galettes, sweet crepes and a carefully selected range of wines and beverages.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Waiter to join our front-of-house team. The successful applicants will have a strong understanding of skilled table service, food and beverage offerings and the ability to deliver knowledgeable and attentive service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

· Deliver warm, professional and attentive table service throughout the guest experience

· Prepare and arrange tables and ensure the dining area is presented to a high standard before and during service

· Welcome guests, manage reservations and present menus and beverage lists

· Take customer orders and communicate them accurately to the kitchen and bar

· Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of the menu, food preparation and beverage offerings

· Provide informed recommendations on menu items, wines and beverages to completement guests selections

· Serve food and beverages in accordance with the restaurant’s service standards

· Open bottles and serve wine and other beverages, assisting with beverage preparation where required

· Monitor tables throughout service and respond promptly to guests’ requests

· Clear, reset and maintain tables throughout service, including removing used dishes, glassware and bottles

· Process customer payments and operate POS and cash register systems

· Assist with opening and closing procedures

· Work closely with the kitchen and management team to coordinate an efficient and seamless service.

About You

· Hospitality qualifications (Certificate III, IV or equivalent) will be highly regarded.

· Minimum 2 years’ experience in a comparable restaurant environment.

· A passion for premium hospitality delivering genuine guest experiences.

· Strong communication and leadership skills.

· Calm, organised and confident in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent presentation and strong attention to detail.

· Available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
