Due to the continued growth of Andertons Music Co we are currently looking to recruit a Senior Warehouse Assistant to join the team at our Guildford warehouse.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehouse operations, ideally within a fast-paced eCommerce environment, who is looking to take the next step in their logistics career.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on warehouse experience, ideally in an eCommerce or high-volume retail setting.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse workflows and inventory systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Forklift licence and experience operating a Flexi forklift are highly desirable.
  • Highly reliable, with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to team success.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in order processing, stock handling, and documentation.
  • A clean driver’s licence would be desirable

Responsibilities
  • Receive and process incoming deliveries, ensuring goods are checked, recorded, and stored correctly.
  • Verify delivery documentation against purchase orders and report discrepancies promptly.
  • Efficiently allocate and place stock in designated picking areas to support streamlined operations.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders, ensuring high standards of quality and speed.
  • Manage stock replenishment processes and coordinate timely deliveries to our retail store.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles with minimal supervision, ensuring safe handling of goods.
  • Support inventory control and cycle counting procedures.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior or temporary warehouse staff.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse team.
