Roles & Responsibilities

• Delivery Unloading & Stacking: Oversee and assist laborers in unloading incoming delivery trucks; stack materials orderly in designated racks and bins. 
• Physical Quantity Counts: Count bags of cement, boxes of tiles, fittings, and bundles of steel alongside delivery notes. 
• Tool Crib Management: Manage the site tool crib, checking out power tools, vibrators, and safety equipment to workers and checking them back in. 
• Consumable Issuing: Issue daily construction consumables (gloves, grinding wheels, nails, binding wire) against authorized requisition slips. 
• Bin Card Updates: Update physical bin cards immediately upon material receipt or issue. 
• Warehouse Housekeeping: Maintain high standards of warehouse orderliness, clear passageways, and ensure fire extinguishers are accessible. 
• Assisting in Audits: Assist the Storekeeper during periodic physical inventory counts and stock verification audits.
